Lessons from Rwanda: Researching, Building and Advocating for Decarbonising Construction
Buildings contribute nearly 40% of carbon emissions and energy use. This session will discuss MASS work over the past five years that has evolved into comprehensive research and policy initiatives with a dedicated emphasis on understanding and promoting low-carbon construction solutions.
Speaker Bio
Theo is a Design Director at MASS Design Group. Over his ten-year tenure, he has made noteworthy contributions to MASS’s portfolio in education, conservation, and public memory. He contributed to the design and construction administration of the Ellen DeGeneres Campus for the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund in Rwanda and co-lead the Conservation and Communities program at MASS.
