SACAP INVITATION TO ATTEND THE ARCHITECTURAL
DRAUGHTSPERSONS ENGAGEMENT IN KWAZULU-NATAL
The South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) is legally
charged with regulating the architectural profession in South Africa in
terms of the Architectural Profession Act 2000 (Act No. 44 of 2000) (the Act).
Background
SACAP has embarked on a stakeholder engagement and public participation
process which forms part of the public consultative process which was
published on the SACAP website www.sacapsa.com on 08 June and
12 August 2015 entitled: Draft Council Policies request for comment.
A further invitation was published on the SACAP website on 01 February 2016
and the first Stakeholder Engagement and Public Participation Forum meeting
was held on 10 March 2016.
SACAP is now engaging with Registered Architectural Draughtspersons
provincially. SACAP cordially invites Registered Draughtspersons to attend
a Participation Forum which will take place in the KwaZulu Natal province
at which the Identification of Work (IDoW) policy will be discussed.
