Professional Practice Examination (PPE) : 26 April 2017
SACAP has announced that the next Professional Practice Examination (PPE) will be held on April 26, 2017.
The following dates are important for eligible candidates who will be registering to write the PPE examination:
- March 27, 2017: Closing date for applications and payment
- April 3, 2017: Confirmation of eligibility to write the PPE
- April 26, 2017: Examination date
A candidate can apply and write the PPE if he/she has completed at least 50% of the required recognized practical experience. This implies that at least half of the prescribed period of internship must have been completed and monthly training records (MTR) submitted for this period and at least half of the required value units obtained.
However, the candidate cannot apply to be upgraded after successful completion of the examination before he/she has completed the full period of practical training.
Candidates must view their ONLINE MTR profile to establish whether they are eligible to write the PPE examination on April 26, 2017.
