FSIA’s Christelle van Rooyen reports that the FSIA BBP was quite a party!
The evening started off with drinks, snacks and loud music, whilst “dolphins” floated around the swimming pool 🙂 Small talk was made and the more adventurous tried their hand at volleyball. The party was later moved inside where guests were welcomed by FSIA President Niel van Zyl who explained the purpose of the party – support for UIA 2014 Durban. His address was followed by “quizzmaster” Jan Ras, who asked attendees general knowledge questions about the UIA Conference. Correct answers were rewarded with a prize 🙂 This was followed by a session of short films on Durban and the UIA2014 Media Launch, fascilitated by Lombard Delport. Guests were further treated to the finest Durban Cuisine and ended the evening with Koeksisters, ice-cream on cones and good banter.
