An educational facility designed  as a response to it’s brief and location. A centre for technical and non-technical training for the Durban Metro.  Situated on a busy route it fronts the street and turns at right angles to accommodate workshops. The student centre marks the fulcrum and a saw-toothed silhouette acknowledges the workshops at right angles. It successfully creates a human scale and a non-institutional character.
