HOUSE MASOJADA

Stephen Dlamini Rd, Musgrave, Berea, South Africa
The importance of north-orientation for habitable rooms, as well as for rooms which opened to the garden, along with the presence of a spectacular view, saw a wing of the upper storey of House Masojada being cantilevered on a slab-like support of relief finish to provide a veranda, while the linking staircase, organically expressed, shows what reinforced concrete is capable of.
